Avengers vs. X-Men so far part 5

Another large batch despite the review just two weeks ago, so its another ‘one sentence review’ structure for the latest round of AvX reviews!

Secret Avengers #28
This comic has steadily increased in terms of story from #27 up to now, and I find this simply amazing and suggest you read it, like now! – 4.5

The New Avengers #27
Bringing you the second Iron Fist… I mean Iron Spider… I mean, well this is one interesting comic that brings forth maybe the best kung fu teacher ever where the start is better read before Round 6, overall this issue makes far more sense read AFTER Round 6. – 4.0

Avenger’s Academy #32
Not as fun as previous issues, but still very good as it takes a look at some nature vs. nurture, allegiances, and a few other things are addressed. – 4.0

X-Men Legacy #269
Love the cover and if it isn’t a tip off, this is Rogue vs. Miss Marvel mostly in a way you may not even imagine. – 3.5

Avengers vs. X-Men Round 6
Questions of the “Phoenix Five” making the world a better place keeps popping up, and many things in this comic seem to hint that despite the seeming control of Scott and the others, that destruction is still going to happen; oh, and the Scarlet Witch finally makes more than just a small panel cameo. – 3.0

Wolverine and the X-Men #12
Almost one big fight from start to finish, this feels more like it should be a round of AvX, and while the fight is fun (though confusing in a few panels) and it ends with something seemingly promised last issue, its nothing grand. – 3.0

Uncanny X-Men #14
If you love Sinister, this is for you for thats all you get; if not, well it seems a waste to use up one entire comic basically to remind us who Sinister is and to outline his plan to take down the “Phoenix Five”. – 2.5

About xxadverbxx

I'm a fan of comics. I use to love DC, but events pretty much starting with the New 52 had pushed me off of them for years. Lately though titles like Gotham Academy and We Are Robin have brought me back to them. I'm much more still a Marvel fan though at this moment who I moved to since New 52 slowly kept pushing me away from DC. Often a fan of X-Men titles while I've really been loving Spider-Gwen series. Film wise I'm upset at DC though I really really want them to do good. At least their TV series are mostly enjoyable (though Arrow has dipped in quality), while I'm a huge fan of the Marvel films. Also, I still really hate Dan Didio and still view him as at least most of what has been going wrong with DC comic wise lately.
